We Stand in the Gap

re-Sound is a non-profit coalition of upper-midwest music and arts professionals on a mission to create new and innovative opportunities and resources for educators of all backgrounds to bring their vision to life. Through our ‘re-Think, re-Store, re-Build’ projects, re-Sound strives to pave the way for a future where equity barriers and achievement gaps in the performing arts are a thing of the past.

re-Think

In partnership with the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, re-Sound offers professional development resources and in-class experiences for students and educators alike geared at exploring our innovative approach to addressing achievement gaps in education ‘The Art of Agency’

re-Store

Our re-Store project focuses on creating new performance opportunities in the arts community through an accessibility and equity lense. In partnership with the Minnesota Percussion Association, Youth In Music, and 825 Marching, re-Sound makes participation in the greater performing arts community accessible for student groups from all backgrounds.

re-Build.

re-Sound is on a mission to create a new community culture where educators from all walks of life have access to the equipment, resources, and support they need to bring their vision to life. Through our coalition of local vendors and the support of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, re-Sound works to make sure any educator passionate about providing opportunities to students has what they need to do so.
